Raise your hand if this sounds familiar…🙋‍♀️

In college, friendships seemed to come pretty easy. You hung out in each other’s dorm rooms, went to classes together, shared meals, and pretty much got to live life with each other.

But now, as you get older, it feels like friendships and community are becoming more difficult. You’re busy working or running after the kids, people are moving to different places, and you find you and your friends are often in different seasons.

So what’s a girl to do?

To get the answer to that question, I brought on author Alyssa Bethke to this episode of the SHE podcast.

Today’s Podcast Guest

Alyssa Bethke and her husband, Jeff Bethke, are bloggers, YouTubers, podcast hosts, and New York Times bestselling authors. (You may have heard of some of their books like Jesus > Religion and Love That Lasts.)

They are passionate about encouraging and strengthening families, and bringing families together as a team.

And Alyssa’s latest book, Satisfied: Finding Hope, Joy, and Contentment Right Where You Are, shows you how you are enough even in the midst of fear, worry, dissatisfaction, anxiety and body image issues.

Trust me when I say that Alyssa is the perfect person to talk on the podcast about building community. This lady has such an intentional heart when it comes to relationships – and she’s got some really great tips to share with you!.
