A creative entrepreneur, writer, author, coach &  friend here to help you step into and show up for what you were made to do.

Indiana girl, born and raised, with nothing more than a simple idea, some gumption, and a little help from my friends, I’m honored to have created a brand built on impact that touches hundreds of thousands.

I'm not fancy. I've just learned to start small and be faithful with what I have, where I am.

Through my chart-topping SHE podcast, online resources and programs, and a book that hits shelves on May 14, 2019, I help gals like you dream big and take imperfect action to see progress, while also learning to be content right where you are.

"HOW DID YOU GET STARTED? How did you get to where you are now?"

I guess you could say it's in my blood. I've always been a creator, motivator, and educator.

As a child, I'd write short stories. As a college student, I'd write "pump up notes" to my boyfriend on the football team (who I'm now proud to call my husband), and it was never uncommon for me to try my hand at something new.

One of those "something news" was the decision to start a small Etsy store toward the end of my college career. That small product shop with my handmade items began to also grow into a personal blog. Overtime, my posts on social media began to pick up steam, some even had viral amounts of shares, and I quickly realized my ideas resonated with a large audience.

As my writing and messages reached more and more women, my small product shop, SoulScripts, grew as well.

I gave the brand a tagline to communicate the heart behind my work, "Your Brokenness is Welcome Here" and that message quickly turned into an international movement the moment we made a sweatshirt line with the tagline available.

Since then, it has evolved into a full blown business dedicated to creating community, extending a welcoming message, and providing opportunities for young women to work and be mentored.

In addition to the evolution of my shop, the scope of my work grew as well. What began as writing a blog alongside the shop led to publishing opportunities and invitations to speak to college women, creating resources to help women grow in their faith, building a personal brand, and so much more.

Not a single one of these things was in my five year post-grad plans. None of these things happened overnight, either. There have been so many times I've asked "What am I doing???" and even more times I've shifted gears, added something new, or pivoted in different directions.

I'm multi-passionate and refuse to be put in a box. It may be unconventional but I believe that has allowed me to do all that I've been able to do up until this point.

When we put ourselves in one box, we can feel stuck. And I'm not about being stuck.

So, whether you're feeling a little burned out in your faith, unfulfilled by your work, frustrated in your relationships, or even like you totally suck at staying disciplined or dedicated to what matters most, you are totally not alone. And more than that, I gotchu covered. Browse the podcast, check out my resources, and chill. You're not stuck. You might just have to work your struggle muscle a bit ;)
