With a society that’s obsessed with diet culture, even “healing” diets like Whole 30, Paleo, and Keto, we often love having easy-to-follow lists that tell us exactly what to eat and not eat in order to be healthy.

But this has led to nutrition becoming overly black and white, with people often demonizing certain foods. Unfortunately, this way of thinking can lead to restrictive dieting, food fear, and even malnutrition and worsening health conditions.

So how do we nourish and heal our bodies without succumbing to restriction and fear? How can we enjoy food freedom while also fueling our body with the appropriate nutrients that will help us thrive?

That’s what I explore in this episode of the SHE podcast with Kori Meloy and Fallon Danae as we discuss what it really looks like to nourish your body, restore your metabolism, and experience food freedom.

Meet Kori and Fallon

Kori Meloy and Falon Lee are the co-hosts of the Freely Rooted podcast, helping women reclaim their metabolisms, restore their health, & rediscover God’s original design for motherhood and wellness.

After putting their own chronic diseases & autoimmune conditions (Kori with endometriosis and Fallon with Hashimoto’s) into remission without restrictive diets or medication, they set out to help others simplify wellness by getting back to the roots of their biological rhythms while living freely along the way.

Kori Meloy is passionate about teaching women how to restore their health holistically and teaches an online Freely Rooted course that teaches what your body actually needs, how to kick diet culture to the curb, reclaim the metabolism of your youth, and take charge of your health.

Fallon Lee reversed her Hashimoto’s disease and went from eating only 7 foods to having full food freedom. She now creates food plans and cookbooks to help you eat in a way that helps your metabolism while experiencing food freedom.

I am so excited to have these ladies on the podcast – I’ve been looking forward to this for a while! Kori and Fallon have a wealth of great information to share and they have a way of making all of their knowledge easily digestible.
