With a vision to one day be able to stay at home with my family while still contributing financially, I started a small Etsy shop from a storage closet in college. As my small business grew and that dream came true, so did my passion for helping other women who shared the desire to work from home but still do something they love. So around here, you'll find resources and tools to help you steward your home and work well.
I think we can all agree on one thing: 2020 has been a tough year especially to dream big.
Culturally, socially, economically, and personally, we’ve all experienced unexpected challenges — and have had to learn how to navigate what many call “a new normal.”
While perseverance and trials are a part of life, a very important question so many are wondering but so few are asking is, “What about my dreams?”
When life throws us a curveball, or multiple curve balls, and totally knocks us down, how do we keep dreaming? How do we keep pursuing our dreams? Should we even try?
In this episode of SHE, I had the honor of talking with Bob Goff, a Disneyland office resident, recovering lawyer, New York Times Bestselling Author, Nonprofit founder, Chief Balloon Inflator, and Motivational Speaker to help us tackle this big, important question as we all learn what it looks like to thrive both in and after hard seasons.
As we talked, and as I asked him some tough questions, Bob shares truths and tools from his new book, Dream Big.
Both in this episode, and through his book, he’s taking us on a journey to rediscover our dreams and turn them into reality. Based on his popular Dream Big Workshop, Bob draws on a lifetime of living and reaming large to help you reach your larger than life dreams.
One of my favorite quotes from Bob?
“I don’t think we lose our zest for life. We lose our imagination.”
Isn’t that the truth?! I know through my own hardships this year, it’s been hard to hold onto imagination, whimsy, and creativity.
However, just because it’s hard doesn’t mean it’s impossible and I’m learning how to hold onto my dreams alongside of you.
If you’re ready to learn how to imagine, dream, and tackle those dreams again, don’t skip this one!
