When a friend or family member is hurting, it can be difficult to know what to say.

Have you ever been in that situation? 🙋‍♀️

You want to help and support them, but maybe you still find yourself unsure of what to say. Or maybe you have a habit of using common cliches like “everything happens for a reason” (which BTW, often end up doing more harm than good).

Even though you have good intentions and you genuinely care, your words (or lack of words) can actually end up being hurtful to the person you’re trying to help.

So what’s a girl to do?

In this episode of the SHE podcast, I’m pulling from some past experiences and sharing the most helpful things to say to a friend who’s hurting.
