Have you ever struggled with a chronic skincare issue like acne (ya know, the kind you’re only supposed to have in those super awkward middle school years)?

If you have, you know that skin issues can be extremely frustrating, painful, and, yes, embarrassing.

I’ve personally struggled with cystic acne over the years and the recommendations from doctors and dermatologists usually involved harsh cleansers, creams, and medications that were full of toxins.

But I’ve since learned that there’s a better solution: finding the root cause of your skin issues (for more on this, make sure you check out my episode with Dani Ferguson) and using non-toxic skincare products that are gentle on your skin and don’t strip your skin of their natural moisture and oil.

But navigating what skincare products are truly non-toxic can be challenging. Many brands greenwash their labels and market them as “organic, “natural”, or “plant-based” when in reality they’re still full of harmful toxins.

So, what’s a girl to do? How can you find non-toxic skincare products that aren’t full of junk and actually work?

That’s exactly what I brought Bethany McDaniel on the podcast to talk about!

Meet Primally Pure’s CEO: Bethany McDaniel

Having used all sorts of harsh prescription creams and pills to treat her acne as a teenager and young adult (and dealing with red, raw, irritated skin as a result), Bethany McDaniel was blown away by the effects she eventually experienced after ditching the harsh toxins and replacing them with simple and natural ingredients.

Bethany’s journey inspired her to start Primally Pure, a line of 100% natural and toxin-free skincare products (which are my absolute favorite, BTW). With an initial $250 order for ingredients + supplies, Bethany has grown her business and helped countless others experience the benefits of using clean products.

In addition to spending time at the Primally Pure Workshop and Spa envisioning new product ideas, Bethany is passionate about all things faith, clean living, and biohacking.

Trust me when I say that Bethany is a wealth of inspiration and her desire to create clean products that support health is truly inspirational!
